Two Miami University student bands will present fall concerts in Hall Auditorium, 101 S. Campus Ave, in the coming weeks.

The university’s percussion ensemble will perform music from the film “Minari,” initially composed by Emil Mosseri and arranged by Miami alumnus Harold Li, at 7:30 Nov. 2. Also included in the program will be music from Minecraft, by Hans Zimmer, and songs by Kanye West.

The Miami University Steel Band’s fall concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9.

The concert will feature original works by invited special guest Victor Provost and band director Chris Tanner.The steel band has produced four recordings since 2001, twice headlined the Virginia Arts Festival’s annual PANorama Music Festival and has appeared three times at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention.
