Harvard professor to lecture about hacking

Harvard University professor Gabriella Coleman will deliver a lecture titled “The Hack and Leak and the Rise of a New Hacktivist Tactic,” at Shriver Center Heritage Room on Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Coleman is a professor in the anthropology department at Harvard University and an associate at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Her research focuses on the cultures, politics, and ethics of hacking, on which she’s written two books.

The Miami University Humanities Center sponsors the event.
