Health district cites seven restaurants this week

The Butler County Health District cited seven Oxford eateries with critical health violations this week.
The inspector gave no critical violations during visits to Dollar Tree #4414, 540 S. Locust St. and Armstrong Student Center – Red Zone, 550 Spring St.
Fiesta Charra Mexican Restaurant, 25 W. High St., received three critical violations Sept. 30. These included improper packaging of dried chili peppers from contamination and not holding cold foods at the proper temperature. The flies around the kitchen and drains required a pest control service.
Drop In Tea, 5 S. Beech St., received two critical violations for the ice machine not being clean and for not holding boba at a high enough temperature (corrected during inspection) Sept. 29.
Buffalo Wild Wings #363, 10 E. Walnut St., received two critical violations for not holding cold foods at the proper temperature (corrected during inspection) and for having flies throughout the facility Sept. 29.
Oxford Sushi King, 37 E. High St., received two critical violations for not holding ready-to-eat foods at the proper temperature and improper marking of dates on foods (both corrected during inspection) Sept. 29.
Ramen Hachi, 17 W. Church St., received a repeated violation for incorrect use of sanitizing solution at its follow-up inspection Sept. 30.
Western Dining Commons, 480 Western Drive, received one repeated critical violation for not having enough space around pipelines Sept. 30.
Church Street Social, 107 E. Church St., received one critical violation for using sanitizing solution incorrectly Sept. 30
