Oxford Fire Department transported a minor after a car crash on College Corner Pike Sept. 30

OPD reports a minor was taken by Oxford Fire Department with suspected injuries from a car crash that took place on College Corner Pike last Friday around 4:30 p.m. 

Kari Begley was stopped and looking to turn left in a driveway across from Hester Road in her  2003 Ford F-150 when Stephanie Imfeld struck her from behind. 

Imfeld, operating a 2007 Chevy Tahoe, failed to slow down. Airbags were deployed in Imfeld’s Tahoe. A minor traveling in her car was taken by Oxford Life Squad with a suspected injury. 

Imfeld was cited in the crash for operating the vehicle at an accelerated speed that was unable to slow down within the assured clear distance ahead. 

Begley was also cited for operating a vehicle with an expired driver’s license.
