FotoFocus, a Cincinnati-based nonprofit that celebrates photography, will have two events at the Miami University Art Museum from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12 

Photographers Bruce Checefsky, Amber N. Ford, Lori Nix, Kathleen Gerber, and Bridget Murphy-Milligan will participate in a panel discussion called “PhotoOH: Photographers in the Heartland.”

The museum also will have a reception for Lens for Freedom: Civil Rights Photographyby Steve Schapiro in the McKie Gallery. Both events are free to the public. Attendees are asked to sign-up before the event.
