Observer partners with Journal-News
Steve Siff is the new editor of the Oxford Observer

Dear readers,
You may have noticed that several articles from last week’s Oxford Observer were republished Sunday on the pages (and website) of Journal-News, the Cox First Media newspaper covering Butler County.
This is the result of a new collaboration with Journal-News. The news stories and photographs of Oxford we publish (nearly) every Friday in the Oxford Observer will now be featured on the local news pages of that Sunday’s Journal-News.
Since 2018, Miami University journalism students have worked under the supervision of faculty to publish the Observer website and weekly newsletter, with ongoing funding from the Greater Oxford Community Foundation and Miami’s Menard Family Center for Democracy. I am pleased that this partnership will bring the Oxford Observer’s student journalism to a wider audience.
