The Oxford Museum Association hosts a butter churning event  from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 at Pioneer Barn on Brown Road.

Participants will use methods from the 1800s and old-fashioned dash churns to make their own butter. Ingredients and tools will be supplied free of charge.

This is the association’s second free summer educational program of the season. Upcoming events include historical activities like ice cream churning, candle dipping and doll crafting.
