Azul is a senior journalism and sociology major at Miami University.

He got into the journalism program with a focus on gaming, but is currently working with the Observer on the social services beat.

Azul is also a type one diabetic, and the president of the Miami Diabetes Link, a social group for students and staff with Type One Diabetes.
