Talawanda kindergarten registration is open for 2025-2026 school year. The district offers full-day kindergarten and half-day kindergarten at each of its three elementary schools. The child must turn 5-years-old on or before Aug. 1 to qualify.
To determine what school to sign up for, contact Petermann Transportation at (513) 273-3150. Parents must call their assigned elementary school prior to the registration date to schedule a mandatory screening. Each school has a different appointment date. Bogan Elementary is on April 10, Kramer Elementary is on April 17 and Marshall Elementary is on April 15.

Parents need to bring the following items to their registration appointment:
- The child’s birth certificate
- A parent drivers license or photo ID
- Proof of residency in the school district (utility bill, rental agreement or offer to purchase, mortgage statement, deed, insurance declaration page, property tax bill)
- Immunization records
- Certified-court stamped divorce decree with custody papers (if it pertains)
- Copy of current custody papers (if it pertains)
- Copy of Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) (if it pertains)
