The Oxford Area Community Theater (OxAct) is bringing its latest production, an adaptation of Stephen King’s classic novel “Misery,” to the Oxford Community Arts Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21.
The show, directed by Kayleigh Swatzell and adapted for the stage by William Goldman, follows an author who is held hostage by one of his biggest fans as she demands he change the ending to his upcoming book.
“Misery” will run for two weekends at the OCAC, with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee performances at 2 p.m. Its final show will be Sunday, March 2.
