To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), those interested in the natural world can attend a Legacy Geology Hike at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2 at Hueston Woods State Park Nature Center, located at 6301 Park Office Road.
Molly E. Hunt of the ODNR is leading the hike, and participants can learn about and discover the natural history of Hueston Woods State Park, and the geologic highlights of the area.
Hunt is a geologist through the ODNR’s Division of Geological Survey and an educator for the outreach program “Ohio Rocks! Earth Science Education.”
Participants are asked to bring a vehicle, as they will drive to the trailhead. Pets are prohibited.
