The Miami University Symphony Orchestra will open its 121st season at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in the Hall Auditorium. The Symphony boasts both new musical numbers and new members in its ranks.
The concert is dedicated to the Daniel Pearl’s World Music Day Festival, founded in memory of Jewish journalist and musician Daniel Pearl after his death to terrorists in 2002. The goal of the concert is to inspire peace during the conflict in the Middle East.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children, seniors and students. They can be purchased here. The music will have themes of joy and accomplishment.
