The McCullough-Hyde Foundation approved $81,500 in grants to address the Oxford community’s health needs.
The Community Granting Program, partnering with the McCullough-Hyde Foundation, provides funding to local organizations to build healthier communities. The program launched in 2023 and has since offered around $430,000 to local organizations.
The Community Grant Program reviewed 28 applications and rewarded 16 organizations with funding. Community Grants look for organizations that help support education, wellness, mental health, alcohol and drug abuse programs, prevention programs, access to healthcare and awareness efforts.
Recipients of the grant include Butler County Educational Service Center, Oxford Reach Out and Read, Friends of Neighbors in Need, Marshall Elementary School, Kiwanis Club of Oxford, Oxford Area Solutions for Housing and the City of Oxford. All of these local organizations focus on community needs to foster a healthy environment in Oxford. Received grants range between $2,000 to $9,000.
The foundation is currently accepting applications with deadlines April 15, Aug. 15 and Dec. 15. For more information or to apply, visit McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital Community Grants.
