The spring sports season is underway for Talawanda High School. Both softball and baseball are starting strong with winning records.
The girls softball team has kicked off their season with a winning record of 3-1. They lead with three victories in a row, defeating Edgewood 5-3 on March 25 and Arnacum back to back with scores of 9-4 and 15-8 on March 27. They lost to Ross on March 28 10-8. Up next the Brave takes on Lakota West at home on April 4.
Boys baseball has started their season 3-1. They opened the campaign with a loss at Turpin by a score of 6-1, but recovered to win three in a row. Talawanda defeated Elder in a close 11-10 game on March 28th. They then beat Lebanon 15-11 on March 30th and Northwest 8-1 on April 1st. Talawanda will host Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool for their next game on April 4th.
The boys tennis team and the track team will both open their seasons on April 4th. The tennis team will travel to Monroe for their first match, while the track team hosts Ross High School for their first meet, Follow along on the Southwest Ohio Conference website.
