The Miami University Board of Trustees will meet at 9 a.m. Feb. 23 at Marcum Hotel & Conference Center on Miami’s campus.
On the agenda is an update on Miami’s Advancement Plan, which it says is the largest in the university’s history. Miami’s goal is to raise $1 billion between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2027.
In 2023, Miami raised $57 million, which they note as the highest calendar year total in the university’s history. Of that total, $32 million went towards Miami’s endowment fund.
This money will go towards scholarships and physical improvements.
To meet the rest of its goal, Miami is hosting “roadshow” and “salon” events in medium and large cities.
