Los Angeles-based actor Matthew Mercer will speak at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in Hall Auditorium as Miami’s next University Lecture Series guest.
Mercer is best known for his roles in animation and video games, as well as the popular Dungeons and Dragons show and media brand, “Critical Role.” Within the independent media company, Mercer serves as chief creative officer, primary cast member and executive producer of “The Legend of Vox Machina” animated series, which is available on Amazon Prime Video.
In addition to his positions in the media company, Mercer has played characters such as Cole Cassidy in “Overwatch,” Ganondorf in “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” and Hermes in Netflix’s “Blood of Zeus.”
