Between Oct. 9 and Oct. 15, Oxford police responded to multiple reports of assault and intoxication.
At 12:05 p.m. Oct. 9, property management for South Campus Quarters, at 131 E. Spring Street, reported damage to a vinyl fence. The vandalism occurred sometime between the late hours of Friday into the early morning on Saturday. Video of the incident was captured, although there are still no suspects.
Just before midnight Oct. 11, officers responded to an unconscious female at Brick Street Bar. The woman was 18 years old and heavily intoxicated, according to police. She was transported to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital for treatment and cited for underage drinking and disorderly conduct.
At 1:45 a.m. Oct. 12, a fight broke out between two Brick Street Bar customers. A Brick employee attempted to break up the fight by pulling one customer off the other. The customer head-butted the employee with the back of his head, breaking two of the employee’s chain necklaces. The customer fled the scene and has not since been identified.
At 6:18 p.m. Oct. 12, officers responded to an altercation on College Corner Pike between two juvenile brothers, ages 13 and 16. Both brothers were arrested and transported to Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.
At 11:54 p.m. Oct. 13, police responded to an altercation between two juveniles at the Talawanda High School football game.
Just after 2 a.m. Oct. 14, an underage intoxicated female was found unconscious in the bathroom of Brick Street Bar. She was transported to McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and given treatment and issued citations for underage drinking.
Later that evening around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14, a caller reported a known female broke her apartment window at 12 Miami Commons then fled the scene. The investigation is awaiting a follow-up.
Around 4 a.m. Oct. 15, a father and son got into an altercation uptown after attending the Oxtoberfest festival. The son was arrested and transported to Butler County Jail. The father was found by police hours later and also transported to jail.
