Lisa White will lead the society as it preserves Preble County’s history.
Lisa White, the executive director of business, marketing and education for the Preble County Historical Society will discuss her plans for the organization at a meeting of Audubon Miami Valley. The meeting takes place at 7:30 Sept. 11 at Lebanon Citizens National Bank in Oxford.
White has lived in Preble County since 2014. According to a press release, she began at the historical society in 2020 as a part-time employee but quickly shifted to full time.
The historical society was founded as a non-profit organization in 1971. According to its web site, its mission is “to be the resource to preserve and promote the knowledge and history of Preble County for all generations.
