The City of Oxford Fire Department has received a new fire pumper truck.

The total cost of the new truck is $652,980. Miami University paid for a third of the cost, an amount totaling $217,660. 

At its June 21 meeting, Oxford City Council adopted legislation to declare the department’s previous fire pumper, model year 2002 from manufacturer Ferrara, as surplus property and sell it through an auction on online marketplace GovDeals.
