Southwest Ohio Conference (SWOC) named 10 Talawanda basketball players to its all-conference teams for the 2024-25 season.
For the Boys team, four players were selected.
Senior Cale Leitch earned a SWOC 1st Team selection. He was third in the SWOC in scoring and led the Brave by averaging 14.2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists per game. He also holds a school record in career 3-Pointers with 177, 3-Pointers in a Season with 68 and 3-Pointers in a single game with nine.
Senior Sam Lippman made SWOC 2nd Team by averaging 10.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest. Junior Brayden Douglas was selected to the SWOC 3rd Team and Senior Adam Kolb earned the SWOC Sportsmanship Award.
For the Girls team, six players were selected.
Three Brave players were selected to the SWOC 1st Team. Freshman Janna Cary and Seniors Grace Richardson and Layni Short all were nominated.
Cary was second in the SWOC in scoring and led all Brave players by averaging 13.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
Short was second on the team in scoring by averaging 8.7 points and 5.5 assists. Richardson averaged 7.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game.
Junior Sadie Van Gorden was named to the SWOC 2nd Team and Freshman Samantha Warholak was nominated to the SWOC 3rd Team.
Senior Olivia Naiman earned the SWOC Sportsmanship Award.
