Jazz performer Sunny Wilkinson will perform jazz tunes and showcase her pottery March 15.
Jazz performer Sunny Wilkinson will take the stage at the Oxford Community Arts Center for an evening of music and art titled “Throwing Jazz” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 15.
Accompanied by Ron Newman on piano, Wilkinson will perform a number of jazz tunes alongside a showcase of her work in pottery.
Wilkinson is an experienced jazz vocalist who toured and performed with multiple notable groups, including The Count Basie Band and Rob McConnell and the Boss Brass.
The show is part of the OCAC’s 10SoCo concert series and is sponsored by the Elizabeth Wakeman Henderson Foundation, The Elms Hotel and Wild Berry Incense. Tickets are on sale now for $20 or $18 with a senior or student discount.
