Three Valley Conservation Trust is planning a guided hike called “Feast, Fire and Frogs” from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. April 27. The hike will take place at 5398 McCoy Road, in Oxford.

 This is the second of three hikes the Three Valley Conservation Trust puts on in the spring.

According to a news release, the objective of this hike is to listen to local frog species while eating and enjoying a bonfire. Participants are encouraged to bring their own food to cook over the bonfire while listening to various frogs croak.

Participants will be educated on the local frog species and introduced to the land around them through this hike, according to the news release.

The free event will be led by Donna McCollum, a retired educator and ecologist.
