Krystal A. Tipton has resigned as president and CEO of Butler County United Way to take a position in development at Miami University.

“It has truly been an honor leading this organization, and I am grateful for your support of its mission and vision,” Tipton said in a news release from the United Way. “This is an incredibly giving community that is engaged in finding new ways to help people improve their lives. I am both confident and excited about the future of Butler County United Way.”

Tipton joined Butler County United Way in 2013 and became president and CEO in 2021. 

Pamela R. Cottle, vice president of operations and marketing, will serve as interim president and CEO until a permanent candidate is hired.
