Storytellers from the Myaamia Center delve into the winter stories of the tribe in a discussion at 3 p.m. Feb. 17 at room 320 in King Library.

Aalhsoohkaanas, or winter stories, are only told during the winter months. This is done out of respect for the animals portrayed in the stories, who have all hibernated, migrated or become less active for winter.
